Originally from Brooklyn NYC, Irena Azovsky (aka Parallel Attractions) has been spinning records professionally at various venues and bars on the East Coast and now West Coast for over 10 years. She plays everything on vinyl - from popular 80s hits, to deep cuts to obscure new wave synth tracks to dreamy retro dance remixes and contemporary electronic music singles.
You can catch Irena at her multiple monthly residencies at local bars all over Los Angeles and Long Beach. She has also played sponsored events for brands such as Dr. Martens, The Broad Museum, Dash Radio and Lomography. Her set is all about a fun time and getting people engaged, grooving and dancing.
